The Creature

In The Creature you control a small round being that may bring some memories of classic puzzle platformer Fury of the Furries. But this manages to be a different game, since the Spanish student team responsible for the development opted for a clever twist – recovering parts of the creature’s body.

Players enter a dangerous ancient temple filled with traps that would make Rick Dangerous proud (or Lara Croft for that matter), rolling away through 20 levels and 5 distinct environments. Although you get to “build” the creature as you go, there’s always the option to revert to its original spheric state to access areas otherwise impossible to reach.

The Creature is a great mix of platforming and puzzle, displaying some nice visuals for an indie freeware PC game.
