Dead Steel

Those who are familiar with classic series Alien Breed will certainly be curious about Dead Steel, a free PC shooter equally set in a science fiction ambiance. The initial screen sets the mood, letting the player know that the alien infested planet is the target and that he’s the one to do the task: clean as much aliens as possible. Sadly, there is no story mode or detailed missions, just monsters to kill over and over again.

There are some motivations in this free game, however, such as unlocking more powerful weaponry, discovering new power-ups available in the game maps, and ultimately survive for as long as possible.

Dead Steel isn’t a long lasting game. Nonetheless, it’s a technically skilled game with great visual effects that is capable of charming players for a while, before becoming somewhat repetitive.
