Cake Queen - Free PC Game Review

In Cake Queen, players will discover the joy of the first job. In this case the recently graduated girl, of stunning looks, will be in charge of a cafe. Don’t be fooled by the name, it’s not all about cakes, there are other things to pay attention to.

Although clearly aimed at girls, with its Barbie-like protagonist and the added extra of building a dream house, Cake Queen is a game that can be played by anyone. Fundamentally, the player uses the mouse to deal with the customers, joining three parts of cake in the order they ask for and serving them. The better and faster we do our job, the more money we’ll get by the end of the day. Money can be used to build our new house and buy new machines for the cafe. This is where things start to get crowded, with ice-cream and soft drink machines, cotton-candy, popcorn and more.

The rise of the cake empire

However, the game is quite easy. The player will reach the 5 star cafe objective without trouble, and the house is finished in no time. Cake Queen doesn’t provide much of a challenge, and the hall of fame is the only incentive for repeated play.

The graphics are impressive, with well chosen color and fine detail. Besides the lack of challenge there’s nothing really negative about this game, so if you’re a fan of Diner Dash and others in the same vein, give Cake Queen a try.
