Dangerous World hails from Japan, created by indie developers Gaisu and Miki. The star of this freeware pixel-art platformer is a young girl who crash lands in an unknown and dangerous planet.She has to explore the magnificent and daunting forests, claustrophobic caves and high tech corridors, using a sword and a laser gun to eliminate enemies. There is a great retro vibe to the game, requiring sharp reflexes to progress and overcome the fast and deadly enemies. Some of them should be avoided instead of confronted, since they can be quite dangerous.
This is a difficult game and one where game over means restarting all over again, but this can be seen as a challenge to fans of games such as Super Meat Boy or the free game Stealth Bastard.
