Cosmic Invaders is a game in which you take on the role as defender of the Earth, protecting it from an invading force from beyond the outer reaches of the known cosmos. With the Earth's air forces quickly disposed of by the invaders, it falls to the remaining ground defenses to hold off the alien marauders and save the day.This game was quite literally written during a weekend some time in May 2007, inspired by Hamumu's Moon Invaders. The version available for download right now is a simple version of my take on the idea, but is sure to develop into a more sophisticated and interesting game with time.
